This page allows you to schedule an appointment at the French Embassy. Please follow the following links to schedule/reschedule/cancel your appointment.

The Embassy of France recommends visa applicants to apply at the VFS visa application centre. However appointments for direct submission without going through VFS can be scheduled from this website. According to their appointments, applicants will hand over visa applications directly to the French Embassy, along with the correct visa fee preferably through a Bank Draft (valid for 30 days OR sealed as “OFFICIAL CHEQUE") drawn in favour of The French Embassy of Colombo.

Please note that this online booking will allow you to submit a visa application directly at the French Embassy once a week, on Tuesday (upon remaining availabilities and except if the considering Tuesday is a holiday). The deadline to schedule an appointment for the coming Tuesday is Monday, 12am.

Examples:

- You book online on Wednesday 5, you will be offered to schedule an appointment at the French Embassy on Tuesday 11, if a slot is still available;
- You book online on Monday 10, 11am, you will be offered to schedule an appointment at the French Embassy Tuesday 11, if a slot is still available;
- You book online on Monday 10, 1pm, you will be offered to schedule an appointment at the French Embassy on Tuesday 18, if a slot is still available.
