19 September 2013: Notice to applicants: Biometric data collection at the VFS centre

The Embassy of France in Colombo has decided to entrust VFS with collecting, from the 25 September 2013 onwards, biometric data of visa applicants (photograph and fingerprints).

This decision reflects the constant will of the French authorities to provide the best possible reception to visa applicants while facilitating their procedure.
